Can I Log In Without a Verification Code?

If your account is registered with a cell phone number, a verification code is required to log in — there is no way to bypass this step.

If you're not receiving your code, the reason usually falls into one of the following categories:

Traveling Abroad Without Data Access

If you're overseas and don't have SMS or data service on your primary number, you may be able to request a one-time manual code from our support team. Follow the steps outlined in our article: Can't Get Code While Traveling Abroad/Overseas.

Please note that this is a one-time exception. We're unable to repeatedly send manual codes, so you'll need to restore data or SMS access to your device for future logins.

Changed Your Primary Phone Number

If you've changed the cell phone number associated with your account, follow the steps here: Can I Change the Main Cell Phone Number My Account Is Registered On?

Neither of the Above Apply

If the options above don't resolve your situation, you can contact our support team to request that your account be migrated to a Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple login. Before choosing this option, please be aware:

  • Your current subscription will be cancelled
  • You will need to create a brand new account and purchase a new subscription
  • Your existing Burner number(s) can be kept
  • All account data and message history will be permanently deleted

Signed Up with Google or Apple?

If you originally created your account using Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, you don't need a verification code at all — simply log in using your Google or Apple credentials.
