Can I change the main cell phone number my account is registered on?

Request a phone number change:

If you've recently changed your phone number recently and want to have access to your Burner account, simply send us an email at support@burnerapp.com with the following info:

  1. Old Main Cell Phone Number
  2. New Main Cell Phone Number
  3. A screenshot of your most recent purchase receipt from your old account (as proof of ownership) with the order ID, date, time and item(s) purchased and confirmation that it was a Burner purchase.

How to find your receipt on iOS:

We just need a screenshot of one of the following:

  • Your most recent receipt that was emailed to you directly for a Burner purchase made on your old account from Apple. You can find this by searching for the word 'Burner' in your email. 
  • A screenshot of the renewal in your Device Subscription Settings. Go to your Apple ID in your device settings! From there, tap Subscriptions and look for Burner.

How to find your receipt on Android:

We just need one of the following screenshots that you can provide.

  1. A screenshot of the emailed receipt from the Play Store showing the Date, item(s) ordered, and Price. Try looking up the keyword Burner in your email.
  2. A screenshot of your purchase history from your Google Play account showing the renewal date.
