Can I access my Burner account on another device?
Are you looking to access your Burner account on another device to read your messages and make calls? Whatever the reason, although we don't support logging in on multiple devices due to how calling works, here are some suggestions:
You are trying to login on on a new device, but have the same main cell phone number.
- Yes, you can log in to your new device without a transfer since your main cell phone number remains the same. Therefore, you should be able to receive the verification code to enable you to login on your device.
You have a new main cell phone number and want to update the main cell phone number associated with your account to be able to login.
- Please follow the steps listed on our support article for Can I change the main cell phone number my account is registered on?
You do not have access to the main cell phone number associated with your account, and you also do not have a new main cell phone number.
- If you are unable to access the verification code sent to the main cell phone number associated with your account, and also do not have a new main cell phone number to move your account too. There's no way for you to currently login to your Burner account. You will need to have access to a new number or your old number in order to receive the verification code. There is no workaround for this.
You sign in with Apple/Google and want to access your account on another device.
- Since the calls are made through the app and not forwarded to your main cell phone number, you should easily be able to login using the same email address that you used to create the account on a new device. If you see any pop-up error message, it's like we are signing into the incorrect email address.
