What is my login password?

Burner doesn't use a traditional username and password. Instead, how you log in depends on how you originally signed up.

What to expect

Your sign-in method is tied to how your account was created:

• Signed up with your main cell phone number: You'll get a one-time verification code by text each time you log in on a new device. There's no password to remember or reset.
• Signed up with Sign in with Apple: You log in using your Apple ID.
• Signed up with Sign in with Google: You log in using your Google account.
• Signed up with Facebook: You log in using your Facebook login.

Important notes

• If you're having trouble with your Apple ID or Google account credentials, that login is managed entirely by Apple or Google. Burner doesn't have access to that information and can't reset it for you — you'll need to go through Apple's or Google's account recovery process.
• Using the wrong sign-in method (for example, trying to log in with an email when you originally signed up with your phone number) can make it look like your account isn't there or create a new account. Always use the original method you signed up with.
