Lost Your Device? Here’s How to Access Your Burner Account
If you’ve lost your phone or switched to a new device, you can still access your Burner account by signing back in on your new device.
How to Sign Back In
Download the Burner app on your new device and sign in using the same method you originally used to create your account.
You may have originally signed up using:
- Your cell phone number
- Sign in with Apple
- Sign in with Google
👉 It’s important to use the same login method to access your existing account and Burner numbers.
Signed Up Through the Website?
If you originally created your account through the Burner website, you’ll need to log in using your cell phone number.
Logging in another way (such as with an email) may create a new, empty account.
Changed Your Cell Phone Number?
If your Burner account was originally created using your cell phone number and that number has since changed, you may need an account transfer in order to regain access.
Our support team can help transfer your Burner account from your old cell number to your new one after verifying account ownership.
Important Notes
- Your Burner numbers, messages, and credits are stored in the cloud and will reappear once you sign back into the correct account
- If you no longer have access to your old cell number, our support team may still be able to help verify ownership and recover access
