Can I keep my Burner forever?

Yes — you can keep your Burner number for as long as you’d like, as long as one of the following applies:

• Your subscription remains active
• You choose to port the number out to another carrier or provider

Keeping Your Number Active

As long as your Burner subscription stays active and in good standing, your Burner number will remain assigned to your account.

If a subscription expires or is cancelled, the number may eventually expire or be released, and you'll receive in-app warning notifications warning of the upcoming expiration.

Porting Your Number Out

If you’d like to keep your number permanently outside of Burner, you can choose to port the number to another carrier.

Porting transfers ownership of the number from Burner to your new provider, allowing you to continue using it elsewhere.

Important Notes

• Expired or burned numbers may not always be recoverable
• We recommend keeping your subscription active until any port-out process is fully completed
