Deleting Your Account vs Canceling Your Subscription

It’s a common question: “If I delete my account, will my subscription be canceled?”

The short answer is no — deleting your Burner account does not automatically cancel your subscription.


Important: Deleting Your Account Does NOT Stop Billing

When you delete your Burner account:

  • Your account and data are removed
  • But your subscription remains active
  • You may still be charged if it’s not canceled separately

How Subscriptions Work

Subscriptions are managed by the platform where you originally signed up, such as:

  • Apple (App Store)
  • Google Play Store
  • Web (direct through Burner)

Because of this, Burner cannot cancel subscriptions that were set up through Apple or Google.
