Switching to pay via Web App vs Apple or Google Play
If you’re currently subscribed through Apple (App Store) or Google Play and would like to switch to paying directly through Burner on our web app, there are a few steps required.
Why This Is Needed
Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are managed by those platforms, so they must be cancelled there first before switching to web-based billing.
How to Switch
- Cancel your current subscription
- Cancel through the App Store or Google Play, depending on how you subscribed
- Wait for confirmation
- Make sure your subscription is fully cancelled (you’ll still have access until the end of your billing period)
- Contact Support
- Let us know once your subscription has been cancelled
- Our team will make the necessary adjustments to your account
- Purchase through the Web App
- Once your account is updated, you’ll be able to subscribe directly through our website
Available Plans on the Web App
Please note that plan options differ slightly when purchasing through the web app:
- 1-line and 3-line subscriptions are available for monthly or yearly
- Both Standard and Premium plans are offered
- 10-line subscriptions are not available through the web app at this time
Important Notes
- Do not purchase a new subscription until your current one is cancelled and your account has been updated
- Your Burner numbers and account data will remain intact during the transition
