Verified Numbers: Area Code Availability
When creating a Verified Number, you may not always see your preferred area code listed. This article explains why that happens and what you can do.
Verified Numbers area code limitations
Verified Numbers currently support US area codes only.
At this time:
- Canadian area codes are not supported for Verified Numbers
- Only US-based numbers will be shown during selection
Why your area code may not appear
If you’re not seeing a specific area code, it usually means that there are no numbers currently available in that area code. Number availability can change frequently, so an area code that isn’t available now may become available later.
What you can do
If your desired area code is not showing, try the following:
- Refresh the app and search again
- Check nearby or similar area codes
- Try again later, as availability updates over time
If the area code still does not appear, you will need to select one of the available options.
