Using the Spam Inbox on Android


What is the Spam Inbox?
The Spam Inbox is a feature available on Android devices that helps filter out messages that may be considered unwanted or suspicious.
Messages may be automatically placed in the Spam Inbox if they are flagged by the system. This helps keep your main inbox clean and organized.
Where do I find the Spam Inbox?
To access your Spam Inbox:

  1. Open the Burner app
  2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left corner
  3. Select Spam

What can I do in the Spam Inbox?

You can take several actions with messages in the Spam Inbox:

  • Open messages to view their contents
  • Long-press a conversation to:
    • Mark as read
    • Delete the conversation

How do I move a message out of Spam?
If a message was incorrectly marked as spam:

  • Simply reply to the message

This will automatically move the conversation back to your main inbox


Why are messages going to Spam?

Messages may be filtered into Spam due to:

  • Suspected spam behavior
  • Repetitive or identical messaging patterns
  • Carrier or system-level filtering

Important Notes

  • The Spam Inbox is currently only available on Android devices
  • iOS devices do not have a Spam Inbox feature at this time
