SSO - Changing your Sign in with Google/Apple login email
iOS Users:
Since your Burner account is tied to your Apple ID and your device itself, there isn’t a way for us to update your Apple ID login email address, since we do not have access to the Apple system. You’ll need to update your email address with them. After the update, there are no changes needed on Burners side, you can still log into your same account using the Sign in with Apple feature. Keep in mind that you can do this on either appleid.apple.com, or in your Apple ID settings on your device. This is not the same as signing out of one Apple ID, and signing into a different Apple ID, as that would result in a different burner account with a new subscription.
Alternatively, we can delete your old account so you can start a new one on the correct Apple ID:
- First, you'll need to first cancel your current subscription. The subscription must be cancelled through your iTunes account. Here are the step by step instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039
- Once you cancel, please confirm this by sending us a message to support@burnerapp.com. Once we make a few adjustments on our end, we'll give you the okay to start a new account and new subscription.
- During this process, your current Burner number will still be yours to keep, we'll just need to move your Burner over to your new Apple email sign in. Important note: that although you will keep the same Burners, all of your history, including texts, and calls will be deleted
