Notifications Not Working
Not hearing a sound with an incoming text? Let's go ahead and try out all of the following:
- First, check your device settings under Burner, if you don't see the option to toggle on and off your notifications, this means you never allowed permissions. You'll need to sign out of your Burner account, then sign back in, then, when prompted about Notifications, press "Allow."
- Delete and reinstall the burner app (All of your information is stored in the cloud so it won't be affected by this process). Upon reinstall, make sure you accept all permissions
- Go to your Burner settings and make sure all notifications are enabled. If they're on, turn them off, then back on.
- Ensure that Do Not Disturb in your Burner settings is disabled, as well as on any device itself. This includes Focus Mode.
- Please ensure that you are only using the device that hosts your main cell phone number and that you are not logged in on multiple devices.
