Texts Not Working

If you're having trouble sending or receiving text messages with your Burner number, there are a few quick steps you can try to resolve the issue.


Step 1: Refresh the App

Start by deleting and reinstalling the Burner app. This can help resolve temporary issues or syncing problems.

Don’t worry - your account information, conversations, and credits are stored in the cloud and will not be lost.


Step 2: Test Your Burner

Once you’ve reinstalled the app:

  • Try sending a text from your Burner number to your own cell phone number
  • Then try replying back to your Burner

This helps confirm whether messages are successfully sending and receiving on both ends.


Step 3: Still Not Working?

If the issue continues, please gather the following details before reaching out to support:

  • Date and time of the failed message(s)
  • Your time zone
  • The Burner number used
  • The recipient phone number
  • Whether the issue is with sending, receiving, or both

Providing this information helps our team investigate the issue more quickly and accurately.
