Anonymous or Spam Calls

Why is a restricted, anonymous or spam number calling me?

Although unlikely, sometimes a number slips past our system and it's possible someone owned the number before you. If you're receiving unwanted calls that you don't know, you can always block them.


To block a number, follow the steps below: 

  1. From your inbox, find the caller number and tap into the thread
  2. Tap the Block button in the center

We also have our Nomorobo Connection which automatically filters out spam calls and robocallers. To learn more about this, check out our Support article on Nomorobo.


If you are receiving way too many spam calls, we'll replace the number for you. Just message us at support@burnerapp.com with your account number or email and the affected Burner number.
