Anonymous or Spam Calls

Why is a restricted, anonymous or spam number calling me?

Although unlikely, sometimes a number slips past our system and it's possible someone owned the number before you. If you're receiving unwanted calls that you don't know, you can always block them.

In order to block a number, you must first add that number as a contact. Once that number is a contact, you can block that number in-app.

Select 'Contacts' at the bottom left of your screen.
Click the contact that you'd like to 'Block'.
Toggle the slider for 'Block Contact' to the right to block. The slider will be green, which indicates that the contact is now blocked.

If you are receiving way too many spam calls, we'll replace the number for you. Just message us at support@burnerapp.com with your account number or email and the affected Burner number.
