Verified Numbers - Difference Between Burner Number & Verified Number
The Difference Between Burner Number & Verified Number
Your Standard Burner is your primary number used for calls, texts, and MMS. While these numbers work on some websites, they are considered VoIP numbers (think of this as an internet/online number) and some 3rd party sites don't allow for signups with VoIP numbers. Your Verified Number is similar to a mobile number (Think of your main cell phone number) which is accepted by more websites in order for you to create an account.
However, both of these numbers can be used with unlimited calls, texts, and MMS. You may not necessarily need both unless you plan to sign up for a 3rd party site that doesn’t accept our regular numbers. You can cancel either on of them while still maintaining the other.
Important Notes:
- The term "Verified" only means that it acts more like a mobile number, and is more widely accepted on some websites. There are no other features to the term Verified.
- The Verified Number subscription is a completely separate subscription from your Standard subscription. Meaning, you pay for 2 subscriptions.
