Deleting Text Messages
You can delete text messages by entire text thread, just an individual message, or clear all conversations at once.
Individual Conversation
iOS Users:
- Find the contact conversation you want to delete.
- Swipe from right to left to reveal the Trash icon and tap it.
- Confirm the deletion by tapping Delete once more.
Android Users:
- Find the contact conversation you want to delete, and press down on it for one quick second.
- Tap "Delete this conversation".
Deleting an Individual Text
iOS Users:
- Tap on the conversation thread that you want to delete and the individual text for.
- Look for the individual message you want deleted.
- Press and hold that message for just a second or two.
- On the pop-up, tap "Delete".
Android Users:
- Tap on the conversation thread that you want to delete and the individual text for.
- Look for the individual message you want deleted.
- Press and hold the message for just a second or two.
- On the pop-up, tap "Delete Message".
Delete All Conversations
Note: For ALL conversations, make sure you're in your All Numbers Inbox. If you have more than one Burner line, this will delete all conversations from every Burner number. If you only want to remove the conversations for a specific inbox, be sure you are in that correct inbox. Your Burner name will be present at the top of your screen. This cannot be undone!
iOS Users:
- Tap the 3 dots at the very top left of your inbox.
- Press Delete All Chats.
- Confirm by tapping Delete All Chats once more.
Android Users:
- Tap the 3 dots at the top right of your inbox.
- Press "Delete All".
- Confirm by tapping "Delete All" once more.
