How do I delete my account?

Requesting a deletion of your account:

Android Users:

1. Click the More icon at the bottom right. 
2. Tap your phone number or account name under Account
3. Tap on Delete Account

Your account will be queued to be deleted, and all your data will be deleted after a 30 day retention period. Your burners and messages can be deleted immediately in the app.

If you're unable to do this, or if you've already deleted the app, please send us an email in-app using the Help button or using the chat icon at the bottom right of this page, along with your main cell phone number. Once we confirm it's yours, we'll queue it up for deletion.

iOS Users:

1. Click the More icon at the bottom right. 
2. Tap Account
3. Tap Manage at the very bottom
4. Click on Delete Account

If you're unable to do this, or if you've already deleted the app, please send us a message by tapping "I still need help" on our chatbot. Once we confirm that the account is yours, we'll queue it up for deletion.

Keep in mind that the deletion of the account will not cancel your subscription! You'll need to cancel using the steps here.
